Dan Sedlacek graduated from Dunwoody Institute in 2001 with a degree in architectural drafting, building a strong foundation in design, structure, and construction planning. He began his career working for a demolition company out of South St. Paul, where he gained hands-on experience in structural systems and job site operations. From there, he advanced into a project management role with a construction company, overseeing projects and developing a deep understanding of residential and commercial building from start to finish.
In 2008, Dan partnered with his best friend to start their own construction company, combining their skills and vision to serve clients with quality craftsmanship and integrity. After many successful years in business together, the company faced a difficult turning point in 2025 following the passing of his business partner. With the original company dissolved, Dan carried forward the experience, relationships, and standards they built together, leading to the creation of Legacy X Construction LLC.
